Code of Conduct
MEMBERS:
- Members must treat the club, its staff and members with courtesy and respect
at all times.
- Be punctual for sports activities. Arrive in 5minutes before your scheduled
time.

Do NOT go onto the venue or use facilities unless a designated Club official
is present.
- On each visit to the club, membership card must be presented for access to
the club and fees must be paid for prior to use.
- Membership may be terminated by the Management for violation of any rules or
regulations of the club or for conduct deemed by the Management to be
detrimental to the welfare, good order, safety or character of the club or
its member.
- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of
their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
SPORTS INSTRUCTORS:
- Consistently display high standard of behavior and appearance thus representing the highest regard of our Club.
- Always be the venue before the scheduled time. Preferably 10-15 minutes before the class start.
- Make sure all lessons/ training sessions are well planned and focused on achieving the goal of the activity.
- Place the wellbeing and safety of each player above all other consideration, including the development of performance.
- Develop an appropriate working relationship with each member based on mutual trust and respect.
- Ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of players.
- Always promote the positive aspect of the sport
- Ensure that the time players spend with you is a positive experience. All young people are deserving of equal attention and opportunities.
- Ensure that equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are appropriate to the age and ability of all players.
- Ensure the rules, length of games and training schedules are modified to suit the age, ability and maturity level of young players.
- Display control, respect and professionalism to all involved with the sport. This includes opponents, coaches, officials, administrators, parents and spectators. Encourage players to do the same.
- Obtain appropriate qualification and keep up to date with the latest coaching practices and the principles of growth and development of young people.
- Conduct yourself in a considerate manner relating to language and temper. Language in a public place or relevant group situation must always be appropriate and socially acceptable.
PARENTS:
- Provide a model of good sports behavior for your children.
- Support your children by helping them to arrive on time for their activity.
- Parents should teach their children that doing one’s best is more important than winning, so that children will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game by his/ her performance
- Parents should praise his/ her child for competing fairly and trying hard, and make their children feel like a winner every time.
- Parents should respect the coaches/ instructors and their authority during their activity and should never question, discuss or confront coaches/ instructors right away, and will take time to speak with coaches/ instructors at an agreed upon time and place.
